Save as Template

Illustrator CS has more than 200 professionally designed templates, including 50 Japanese language templa
that help us start projects quickly. Templates offer a range of design ideas and include custom-sized artbo
layers, styles, swatches, symbols, and more. Illustrator CS also includes a template file format, so that we save our own templates.
Start a new document and design a page as required.
1. Select File> Save As Template
2. In the Save As dialog box, select a location for the file, enter a filename, and click save.
Illustrator saves the file in AIT (Adobe Illustrator Template) format.
